As with most of the 'Let me tell you a story...' fics, I don't agree with all of what the narrator is saying. I do believe most criminals can be rehabilitated, do not support the death penalty, and do not condone the use of excessive police force. But, on the other hand, I am finding I'm quite enjoying this exercise of getting into the head of a character whose POV differs markedly from my own.
